 TRAV was born in Baltimore, Md. Raised in small-town but carries a big heart with a lot of passion. Travis has always been a man of few beliefs learning from his own perception as he came to realize his views of the world may not fit into the "norms" of everyday life.The box that society wanted him to stay in wouldn't fit anymore.Travis knew in this life you gotta take the leap to learn how to fly.

He told his mom at the age of 16 " I GOTTA DO THESE THINGS, ITS ONLY NATURAL, BUT WHEN IM DONE DOING THESE THINGS IM DONE”. She had know idea that "these things "would be the fuel that leaped him into starting and owning Monyatti Trav clothing and Apparel and transform her son Travis T Curtis to the singer/songwriter now known as BILL$.
-understood by masses.

Basics Live or Die hungry:

We all heard the saying "you live and you learn" but we never truly get the meaning because it's said so often in repetition. Bill$ consistently believed people saw life with too much complexity, but it could simplify down to "believe and Achieve" don't make life so complicated it's you who writes your future trust your ability. As a young man, he realized you have to Live or you Die because if you just live and learn the opportunity to take flight may not happen if you already learned you would fall. So to him, you Live or you Die to soar.

His mother Stephanie raised Trav with his 2 sisters, Remi and Sage. They have always believed in his dreams and supported his talents. As Trav matured his family began to truly understand his many ambitions.Not just as hobbies but more as the need to learn.For him being creative sometimes becomes a curse as well as a blessing, for those who lacked the patience and the understanding. His ability to create involved many avenues of music, dance, and performances as well as experiences of everything a young man should and possibly should not have done. Whole other story.

But finally, one thing that fit was the Music.The soulful sounds of Brian Mcknight.The R&B feel of Jagged Edge.The Neo Soul Jazz of Lauren Hill. The angelic voice of late Whitney Houston.The precedent Raps of the late Biggie Smalls. So much more to name but need I say more about the 90s…man what an era! Sorry for getting off track but when I say he’s a 90s baby I’m talking by definition..Travis T Curtis aka Trav.

Bill$ has never settled for anything less than what he wanted. What you're witnessing right now is the pure determination by going to school to hone his craft then graduating with a recording arts degree. Cutting out the middle man to produce and engineer and direct his music videos. Set up his promotional gigs and control marketing and advertisements of his musical creations. While continuing to knock on doors and beat the pavement to reach his definition of success.

He never gave up and he never let anyone belittle his greatness. Some may acquaint greatness to mean money or material but Trav only sees his goals, no fear, the work he has put in will define his own greatness. For him, it's less about achieving the "American Dream" but more about living this life without regrets, to be selfishly focused, to reach old goals and set new expectations, to let nothing stand in his way. To always know dreams are just alternate realities.
